Grab the matching audiobook too! It’s whispersynced so you can flip between reading and listening. Audiobooks are great when commuting or waiting in a doctors office. And being able to change between listening and reading is great. It lets you leisurely read or get through a section you were dying to hear, but can’t actually read for hours.

Seriously. I wasn’t an audiobook girl until I started to produce my own for the Ferro series. After that I realized if I liked the narrators voice and the way she or he portrayed the character in the sample, then I’d enjoy the audiobook.

The Secret Life of Trystan Scott boxed set is narrated in alternating point of views which allows the voice actors to really get deeper into Mari & Trystan personality. I selected Sebastian (Trystan) and Jennifer (Mari) for these parts and they nailed it. The two of them sound exactly like the characters that lived in my mind for so many years.

And since this is a boxed set, the audiobook is only 1 credit in audible. It’s also available on iTunes & Amazon.

Trystan’s tale was one of my favorite stories to write. His life is all smoke and mirrors and once the facade breaks, I love him even more.

And for those wondering how much of my life bleeds onto the pages of my book, here’s an example. The school building in this series is modeled after my high school in New York. It was shaped like an interlocking DP (Deer Park) which looks cool if you’re flying overhead, but I was forever lost in that pink hallway my freshman year. I spent way too much time backstage and in the theatre. Some of my best memories happened there with my dearest friends.
